Summer Camps in Greenport

Greenport has a handful of summer camps this year, ranging from traditional day camps to workshops in art, music, and theater. Here's the full list, with ages, hours, and dates for each.

Future Stars Little Stars

Future Stars Little Stars is a day camp for preschoolers at the American Legion. It's designed for young children and offers a relaxed, organized day with outdoor games, creative projects, music, movement, and visits to Mitchell Park.

Ages 3 to 5, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. July 6 to August 14.

Village of Greenport Summer Camp

The Village of Greenport offers a traditional summer day camp for children ages 4 to 12. Kids are grouped by age and enjoy outdoor play, group games, local outings, and trips to North Fork libraries.

This camp is one of Greenport's longer full-day options.

Ages 4 to 12, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. June 29 to August 21.

Naturally Speaking Language Program

Naturally Speaking is a one-week language program on a Greenport farm. It is led by two speech-language pathologists and uses hands-on, screen-free activities to help kids build language and communication skills.

Families can also sign up for single days, making it easier to fit around other summer plans.

Ages 5 to 10, Monday through Friday, 90-minute sessions. June 29 to July 3.

Future Stars All Stars

Future Stars All Stars is the next level after Little Stars for kids ages 6 to 12. This camp also meets at the American Legion and offers outdoor sports, games, indoor activities, and group competitions.

Ages 6 to 12, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. July 6 to August 14.

North Fork Arts Center Summer Workshops

North Fork Arts Center has several summer workshops for kids and teens, including improv, singing, animation, and musical theater. The programs are short, creative, and focused, with most running for one week or less.

Each session ends with a small performance or screening for families.

Ages 6 to 15, mostly Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, select weeks in July and August.

VEME Studios Summer Programs

VEME Studios offers half-day summer art programs. Younger kids can join themed Creators Club weeks, and older kids and teens can sign up for a focused pottery week in August.

Ages 6 to 17, half-day programs. Creators Club runs on select weeks from June through August. Pottery Week runs August 17 to 21.

Songwriting 101 with Julia King

Songwriting 101 is a three-day workshop for kids and teens at VEME Studios. Julia King guides students through writing lyrics, creating melodies, and putting a song together. No musical experience is required.

Ages 10 to 16, Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. July 6 to 8.
