Julia King leads a three-day songwriting workshop for kids and teens at VEME Studios in Greenport. She teaches the basics of writing lyrics, building melodies, and structuring songs through listening exercises, games, and writing activities. No experience is needed. Everyone leaves with a finished original song.
The workshop runs Monday through Wednesday, July 6–8, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and costs $250. Enrollment is limited to 12 students.
