International Coastal Cleanup Day with the North Fork Environmental Council

Join the North Fork Environmental Council's International Coastal Cleanup Day and help take care of our coastline. Volunteers will pick up litter at two local beaches before it reaches the water. This is a simple way for families to spend time outdoors and show kids how to care for their community. The cleanup is from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and you can join for as long as you like.

Saturday, September 19. Iron Pier Beach in Jamesport from 9:00 to 11:00 am, then Breakwater Beach in Mattituck from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Free to join at either beach for as long as you like. Please bring gloves and buckets.
