International Observe the Moon Night at Custer Observatory

Enjoy a late-evening astronomy outing at Custer Observatory, featuring telescope viewing, a talk about the Moon, and a look at the fall sky. Families can join the program and stay to explore the observatory after dark. For kids who love space, this is one of the season's standout local events.

Saturday, September 19, from 6:30 to 11:30 pm. Custer Observatory, 1115 Main Bayview Road, Southold. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 16, and observatory members are free. If the sky is clear, staff set up telescopes for guided views of the Moon and the autumn sky.
