Firefly Festival on the North Fork
June 27, 2026

Turtleback Conservation Center is hosting its first Firefly Festival on Saturday, June 27. This evening event will celebrate fireflies, dark skies, and the start of summer.
Families can discover why dark night skies are important, learn how fireflies help our environment, join a community science project, and make a firefly craft. As it gets dark, everyone can enjoy watching the evening sky. It is a good fit for kids who are curious about nature and happy to stay out past dusk.
We'll share more details soon, including the exact location.
Saturday, June 27, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
Details are on the Firefly Festival page at Turtleback Conservation Center.
