Mr. Vanderbilt's Spooky Science Lab

The lights dim in the Vanderbilt Museum's natural history galleries so kids can get a closer look at some of nature's oddest creatures. They'll check out unusual teeth, bones, spines, and animals that can regrow body parts. After exploring, everyone gets to make a creepy craft to take home.

Friday, October 23, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Vanderbilt Museum, 180 Little Neck Road, Centerport. For kids in kindergarten to grade 3. $25 per child, or $22 for members.
