World Turtle Day at Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons

World Turtle Day is coming to Jamesport this May, and Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons will welcome the community to celebrate New York's native turtles.

This free event is on Saturday, May 23, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the rescue center on Manor Lane. Families can meet turtle ambassadors and learn how the rescue team helps injured and sick native turtles. If your kids love animals, nature, or enjoy watching turtles, this event is a fun way to make a spring morning special.

You can also join an optional guided tour of the outdoor sanctuary. The tour lets you see the sanctuary, meet the turtles, and learn about their habitats, with time to ask the rescue team questions. Space is limited, so please reserve your spot in advance.
