Día de los Muertos at the New York Botanical Garden

The New York Botanical Garden is celebrating Día de los Muertos, the Mexican tradition of honoring loved ones who have passed away. Families can see colorful marigold displays, decorated skulls, and a community altar, then join in traditional art activities, music, and storytelling. Special children's activities include making alebrijes inspired by Mexican folk art on October 31, and a Día de los Muertos parade on November 1.

October 3 to November 2, with special activities on select dates, including October 31 and November 1. The October 31 alebrijes workshop is recommended for ages 4 to 10. New York Botanical Garden, 2900 Southern Boulevard, Bronx. For all ages. Included with the All-Garden Pass. Weekend admission is $39 per adult and $17 per child ages 2 to 12, and kids under 2 are free.

Tickets and details are on the Día de los Muertos page at the New York Botanical Garden.
