Penguin Sleepover at Long Island Aquarium

Long Island Aquarium is hosting a penguin-themed overnight sleepover on Saturday, July 11.

The evening features a penguin presentation, a crafts station, a buffet dinner, and a short movie before bedtime. When it's time to sleep, families can set up their sleeping bags by the 120,000-gallon shark tank, the Best Buddies tank, or the giant Pacific octopus.

In the morning, families can enjoy breakfast at the aquarium before heading home.

Saturday, July 11, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am. Long Island Aquarium, Riverhead. Recommended for school-age children, but all ages are welcome. $75 per person; members save 10%; children 2 and under are $10. Reservations are required. Call 631-208-9200, ext. 426.
