The Intro to Horses camp is for kids ages 8 and up who want to learn more than just riding. Each day focuses on horsemanship, including breeds, anatomy, grooming, tacking up, feeding, and stable work. There's a riding lesson every day. Kids also spend time with baby farm animals, do crafts, play games, and meet the farm's vet, horse shoer, and dentist. The ice cream truck comes by every week.
The camp runs Tuesday through Thursday from July 7 to August 20. Full days run 9 am to 3 pm and cost $950 per week. Half days run 9 am to 12 pm and cost $475 per week. Sibling and multi-week discounts available, including a buy-one-get-one-50%-off offer.
