Hidden Lake Farm Riding School offers a weekly pony camp in Southold for children ages 5 and older. Every day, campers enjoy a riding lesson, learn about grooming and horse care, and take part in crafts and fun activities like painting ponies and costume parties. Each class has a maximum of 8 campers.
Camp is led by Miss Jackie and Miss Lia, both NYS-certified teachers and lifelong equestrians. Helmets are provided for riding. Campers should wear long pants and bring sunscreen, a hat, a towel, water, a snack, and a lunch.
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, July 1 through September 2. Tuition is $650 per week, with a non-refundable $400 deposit required to hold a spot.
