About the program

The Summer Ecology Program at Quogue Wildlife Refuge is a weeklong morning camp for children entering grades 2 to 6. Each week, kids explore the refuge's habitats and ecosystems, including spots like Chocolate Pudding Pond, Fairy Dell, and the Mud Trail. On Thursday, the group visits Dune Road in East Quogue to seine in Shinnecock Bay. Each child can attend one session per summer.

QWR memberships start at $35 and include priority registration and lower tuition rates.

The program runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Tuition is $325 for members and $350 for non-members. Members can register until May 11. Non-member registration starts after May 11.
