Sea Adventures is a marine science day camp at Cedar Beach, run by Cornell Cooperative Extension for kids entering 2nd through 8th grade. Each week, campers explore the water and local wildlife with coastal and wetland activities, touch tanks, experiments, and shark dissections. Kids also get on the water by kayak and paddleboard and explore the shoreline, with ocean-inspired art projects throughout the week. Every session includes a field trip. Destinations change weekly and may include the Long Island Aquarium, Splish Splash, the Adventure Park, a boat trip at Captree State Park, or Scott's Pointe.
Camp runs Monday through Friday, with drop-off from 8:35 to 8:55 am and pickup at 3:30 pm. Each session costs $575. There are eight sessions from June 29 to August 21.
