The Intro to Horses camp is for kids ages 8 and up who want to learn more than just riding. Each day focuses on horsemanship, including breeds, anatomy, grooming, tacking up, feeding, and stable work. There's a riding lesson every day. Kids also spend time with baby farm animals, do crafts, play games, and meet the farm's vet, horse shoer, and dentist. The ice cream truck comes by every week.
The camp runs Tuesday through Thursday from July 7 to August 18, 9am to 3pm, and costs $950 per week.
