The Heart of It runs "Heart of Summer", a nine-week drop-off program in Aquebogue for children ages 3–5 and 6–9. Children must be potty proficient to enroll. Small classes, with separate activities for both groups.
Each morning includes outdoor play, art-making, sensory exploration, movement, and play-based learning. Some sessions include workshops in music, movement, and art. A snack is provided; all materials are included.
The themes for the nine weeks are the following:
- June 29–July 2: Nature Explorers
- July 6–9: Mad Scientists
- July 13–16: Prehistoric World
- July 20–23: Create Without Limits
- July 27–30: STEM Lab
- August 3–6: Fantasy World
- August 10–13: Splash Zone
- August 17–20: Wearable Art
- August 24–27: Superhero Games
The program runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Each week costs $325.
