East End Arts offers "Renaissance Kids Summer Camp", a weekly arts camp in Riverhead for children ages 5 to 10. All abilities are welcome. The camp has two sessions: morning art and afternoon music and performance. Families can book either session on its own or both for a full day.
In the morning, kids explore visual art through techniques such as watercolor, canvas painting, collage, and three-dimensional projects. The afternoon is all about music and stage performance. Every week wraps up with a family showcase on Friday.
Camp runs Monday through Friday. The morning art session is from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the afternoon music and performance session is from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The full day is 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Tuition is $450 per week for half days and $800 per week for full days. Early-bird rates are $400 (half-day) and $700 (full-day) if you register by April 30. The 7-week pass costs $2,500 for half days or $4,500 for full days. East End Arts Center members get a 10% discount.
