North Fork Arts Center ran a six-week summer writing workshop open to teens and adults, ages 16 and up. Mira Johnson led the workshop, giving writers a place to write, revise, read closely, and discuss writing in small groups.
Writers worked on original pieces while exploring character, voice, dialogue, description, figurative language, and story structure.
In summer 2026, classes ran Saturdays, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, on June 13, 20, 27, July 11, 18, and 25. Tuition was $200, and the workshop was limited to 15 writers.
North Fork Arts Center also offered summer camps in improv, singing, animation, and musical theater for younger kids and teens.
This program ran in summer 2026. The 2027 schedule has not been announced yet. Contact North Fork Arts Center to confirm.
