Peconic Dunes Overnight Camp

Peconic Dunes Overnight Camp

Peconic Dunes Overnight Camp is a Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H camp in Southold for students entering 3rd through 10th grade, set between the Long Island Sound and Great Pond. During the day, campers enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, fishing, archery, outdoor cooking, sports, environmental science, arts, music, drama, and photography. Evenings are more relaxed, with campfires, talent shows, dances, and time to make friends. Each session ends with breakfast on Saturday morning. Campers staying for the next session check out and return on Sunday. A Counselors in Training program is available for 11th graders (ages 16 and up), limited to 8 participants per cohort.

Each session runs from Sunday to Saturday and costs $885, or $911.55 if you pay by credit card. There are eight sessions from June 28 to August 22.

We reviewed these details in April 2026, but schedules, prices, and availability may change. Please confirm with the camp before registering.
