PCSummer is an outdoor maker program for children ages 3 through Grade 4. It's run by Peconic Community School, a progressive school on a 10-acre campus in downtown Cutchogue, and follows the same project-based approach.
The camp has two age groups. Younger children enjoy nature-focused free play, stories, art, and sensory activities. Kids in Kindergarten through Grade 4 start the day with free play, then move to afternoon electives led by community teachers and local experts: gardening, crochet, floral art, sports, an outdoor clay studio, and a Maker Lab.
Each day has a clear structure without feeling rushed. Campers get a mix of activities, with plenty of time to slow down, focus on a project, and just be outside.
The full day runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with optional extended care until 5:00 pm. Eight sessions run June 29-August 21. Tuition is $915 per week for the full day, $1,115 per week with extended day, and $600 per week for a half-day option (ages 3 to 5). Siblings receive 5% off, and year-round North Fork families receive 10% off.
Spark Sessions · K-Grade 4 · Afternoons
Spark Sessions offer a shorter version of PCS's elective-style summer programming. They can work as a stand-alone half-day program or help fill the afternoon after another morning activity.
Runs Monday through Friday, July 6-August 21, from 12:30 to 4:00 pm. Tuition is $450 per week.
