The Heart of It runs "Heart of Summer", a nine-week drop-off program in Aquebogue for children ages 3 to 5 and 6 to 9. Children must be potty proficient to enroll. Small classes, with separate activities for both groups.
Each morning includes outdoor play, art-making, sensory exploration, movement, and play-based learning. Some sessions include workshops in music, movement, and art. A snack is provided; all materials are included.
The themes for the nine weeks are the following:
- June 29-July 2: Nature Explorers
- July 6-9: Mad Scientists
- July 13-16: Prehistoric World
- July 20-23: Create Without Limits
- July 27-30: STEM Lab
- August 3-6: Fantasy World
- August 10-13: Splash Zone
- August 17-20: Wearable Art
- August 24-27: Superhero Games
The program runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Each week costs $325.
