Future Stars Tennis Camp is held at Aspatuck Tennis Club in Westhampton Beach, where campers play on nine Har-Tru courts. The program is led by a staff of international tennis pros, including director Pablo Montesi, a USPTA Certified Professional and PTR Certified Instructor.
From the first day, campers are grouped by age and skill level, so each child gets instruction that fits their experience, whether they are new to tennis or already play competitively. The program teaches stroke mechanics, footwork, serving, returning, and positioning. Every day includes match play and tournaments. Har-Tru clay courts are gentler on joints than hard courts and encourage consistent play. It's the same surface used at the French Open and by many college teams.
Ten sessions run June 22 through August 28, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Tuition is $950 per week, with multi-week and sibling discounts available. An optional lunch is available for $85 per week.
