Browder's Birds in Mattituck runs a small summer program at its organic livestock farm. Kids spend time with chickens, ducks, sheep, bees, and cows, and join in hands-on farm activities. Each camper brings home six fresh eggs every day and gets a farm T-shirt. A snack is included; campers bring a packed lunch.
Pre-K Farm Camp · Ages 3–4
This camp introduces children ages 3 and 4 to farm life. They meet animals, help feed the baby chicks, collect eggs, try fiber crafts and natural dyeing, bake, and plant seeds. Limited to 8 campers per session.
Camp runs Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Tuition is $400 per session. Two sessions: August 3–6 and August 17–20.
Free-Range Farm Camp · Ages 5+
This camp offers kids ages 5 and up a hands-on farm experience. Each day, they care for animals and take part in projects like fiber art, botanical dyeing, bread baking, making homemade ice cream, learning beekeeping basics, and planting a bee garden. Limited to 15 campers per session.
Camp runs Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Tuition is $400 per session. Two sessions: August 3–6 and August 17–20.
